Thought for the Writer's Day: Free Audiobooks

Here's the third part of the American Invisible, Inc. free unabridged MP3 audiobook.

American Invisible, Inc. was the first novel I actually finished, and I got to the end because I wrote it here, online, in public. It tells the tale of a girl called Susan who is good at things most people think are difficult, and bad at things most people think are easy. She's smart enough to live as a perpetual student at NYU where she works towards her Doctor of Philosophy. Her subject is Philosophy. She barely supports herself by a succession of minimum-pay jobs that often last less than one evening. She also happens to be a real, live superhero. She can fly, turn herself invisible and, though she wears only a size six, lift heavy objects.

"You've heard of Superman and Batman?" Susan shrugged. "I'm See-Through Sue."

Help Someone Today, and it Won't Even Cost You a Penny:  American Invisible readers have helped to raise funds for more than 14,000 thousand free mammograms, after reader Nucklehead Ed drew our attention to this good cause. "Going here and clicking on the button once a day may help save a life. That's not too much to ask, is it?" Nope.
