Writing

Self-Editing for Fiction Writers by Renni Browne and Dave King Thought for the Writer's Day: How Can I Write and Hold Down a Full-Time Job?

I like Thursdays, because they mark the low point of my week. I might be more tired on Friday, but I'm done with the work week by then, so it doesn't matter. If you do a little elementary math, it's simple to prove that the timespan between getting out of bed on Monday and getting home on Thursday constitutes half the week. That means the rest of the time is the other half. I might have to work on Friday, but that's just nine hours or so out of half a week; nine hours out of 84.

That leaves me a great deal of time to write whatever I want.

Quote for the Writer's Day:

"TV... really is about the last thing an aspiring writer needs." From On Writing by Stephen King.
