Writing

Moominsummer MadnessThought for the Writer's Day: How Do I Write for Children?

As someone once said, no one can predict what will interest children. But it helps if we can remember what it was like to be four feet tall.

I can. I still read the books I discovered in third grade. They're important. Moomintroll by Tove Jansson was one of my favorites, and here's a daily tribute to her delightful, quirky writing. Don't be afraid to read kid's books.

How Much Do You Read?  How many books have you read so far this year? It pays to keep a list, especially if you're a slow reader like me.
