Writing

The First Five Pages: A Writer's Guide to Staying Out of the Rejection Pile by Noah Lukeman Thought for the Writer's Day: How Do I Get Published?

It's the end of the first quarter of the year, time to take stock. Some writers are at their most productive in the winter months, when the days are shorter and we spend more time indoors.

Personally, I like the string and fall. I'm more motivated to get things done. So, today, I'm taking a look at what I've accomplished in the first three months of the year, and setting some goals for the next three.

Quote for the Writer's Day:

"Melodrama is a form that is devoted more to creating sensations than to making sense." From Making Shapely Fiction by Jerome Stern.
